Märke, 2019
A sculpture which functions as an indicator, something to gather around. I wanted the work to be visible from a distance, to create lines of sight and create a point of reference. It is made from wood and painted in traditional Swedish Falu red. I was inspired by traditional craft and symbols such as maypoles, things that oscillate between function, abstraction and symbolism.
